Suzy Starlite

HELLO

I’m Suzy Starlite, a mixed-media artist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter, originally from Ross-on-Wye and now based in the Isle of Man. I love telling stories about our shared human experiences in many forms, be it music, poetry, art, food or conversation.

I share my life with my husband and musical partner, Simon Campbell.

Together, we perform as Starlite & Campbell. We’ve released three studio and two live albums to date.

This year is also a bit of a milestone for me, as I am currently recording my debut solo album '1966' (I am a Fire Horse) set for release in early 2027.

My heart belongs to the bass guitar and synths, and I'm proud to be an artist for Mike Lull, Curt Mangan, Sequential, Scott Dixon Cases and Bergantino Audio Systems, amongst others.

We are a pack with our three female Labradors, Bobby, Edith & Françoise.

VIBES is the musings of my husband and I, offering a thoughtful and (hopefully) amusing blend of articles about life, culture, music technology and our art.

It may be a new recipe, a critique on music and the music business, technical articles on instruments and music technology, our adventures touring and in the recording studio or our artistic and cultural life in Portugal: a real mixed bag.

From November 2015 to October 2019 and January 2023 to April 2024 we recorded The Supertone Show - an hour-long, weekly music-inspired podcast about songs and the people who make them, syndicated to radio stations worldwide.

Now, we release the occasional long-form edition of the show. New episodes, plus a full archive are available for you to enjoy within VIBES and Spotify.
